Hello everyone!! Hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend!! For us, Mike had to work, so we just relaxed at home and enjoyed the three day weekend. Mikey was sick so he had a four day weekend. The weather is beautiful here, Fall is definitely on its way!!
The first week of school went well. The kids like their teachers and are excited to see their friends again! I am ready to tackle week #2. Mikey is really liking German school, I might get to leave him this week, at least for an hour or so. What am I going to do with myself. Hee hee! I might cry this week.
This week I really don't have to much planned, except soccer practice. On Saturday, The girls have their opening day for their games. They have to be on base at the fields at 0830! BLAH.....we will be there the whole day. They have a little ceremony at 9 and then the girls will play, at different times. They are excited! I on the other hand, is not looking forward to staying there ALL day! I know I will be one tired soccer mom after that day is over! Well, I hope everyone is doing well! Love and miss everyone! Have a great week!!
P.S. My dad says I use LOL (laugh out loud) too much.....So just for him, I used "Hee hee". Love ypou daddy!!

Dear Cathy and all,
It was great to hear from you, Cathy - and to hear how summer was ending (I looked on our map and can't find "EUROPA" - must be near some town? I think it's exciting to have crossed over the border into France; I forget that distances are shorter there than here in the states.)
What's "fall" like there? I've gotten so used to Florida weather, and no leaf color or falling of leaves or colder weather that I really can't tell that it's September except that FOOTBALL has begun. Your grandfather is really pleased! Will the girls get confused as they continue learning soccer rules? We watched the Little League World Series, and they said the German team was from Ramstein Air Base. I don't know if your Grandfather Bill will even realize his 75th birthday (and your anniversary) are approaching! I couldn't tell from the children's clothes at school if they needed sweaters yet (Oh, tell Alex that her new hairdo is most becoming!).
How is German school different for Mike, Jr.? Is it in the same place the girls go? I'm so glad they are liking school now that the first week is over. That beginning each year was always hard for me.
And subbing sounds like an interesting job for you - write some more about that when you have a chance.
Enough for now - I don't think I'll ever learn to write briefly! And, once you told me what "LOL" meant, I could figure that out!!
Much love and hugs to all!
Grandma Patricia
very cute. And I thought having the two little ones gone in the mornings for 2 1/2 hours I would get bored but it isn't a whole lotta time! Then I have to go get them again. Enjoy your hour of quiet though.
HaHa! Love you too!
