Well, it has been a couple of weeks since I last blogged!! Its been a couple of busy weeks. By the end of the night I am too exhausted to write. lol Let's see, the past couple of weeks I have watched my friends boys.....they are really good boys....but you can see why I am exhausted at night...lol Five children in my care. Hee hee. Mike on flight now....so he works mids, 4pm to 5am the next morning. He works 2 days on, off for 2 days, works 2 days, off for 3days, which is every other weekend!He is liking it...so far! The kids are good, they are really enjoying their summer. School starts 30 Aug, so I am busy getting school clothes ready. Mikey, as of right now is going to the German Kindergarten, starting 30 Aug. I am really dreading that day but also looking forward to it. I get ME TIME!!! lol I am really sad to let my partner in crime go He is my buddy.... :( We are doing well, it has been really hot here. There are days I am really missing my A/C! lol This weekend, Mike and I had a date night! It was so nice to just have us time. My friend watched the kids over night. WOO HOO!! We really enjoyed ourselves.Today, I got even more time to myself and celebrated my friends birthday at my friends house. Got to spend the WHOLE day without the kids. Mike took all three kids to go play mini golf and took them to a huge pool with water slides and diving boards. Apparently, Alex was jumping off the 2nd highest board like a frog! The kids were very worn out. Summer is going by super fast. Pretty soon the leaves will be changing and sweaters will be worn!! I am actually looking forward to the Fall/Winter here! Somehow I missed your July 4th photos until now- how great! and wondered if those were some of the strawberries you all picked on that beautiful cake!! Are the houses your block? Can't tell details from Google Earth. Loved you all in those red/white/blue outfits - we do also, but are disappointed that not that many others. But WE are so proud of you all!!! Sounds like Volegewli Base is fairly near? Couldn't find it on map or Google earth. But glad they had some rides and fireworks - and hope our package has arrived so that you saw Granddad Bill playing his trumpet in a western NY July 4th parade years ago. Not here! Too hot. The parades are mostly water "battles" - from the floats and from the watchers! Kids sounds like they are enjoying the water activities - glad you have some nearby.
You didn't mention soccer excitement - the TV showed pictures of cheering crowds in Germany while they were still in. And my maps showed that the Tour of France came somewhat close to you - lots of beautiful mountain scenery for you to explore someday. Are you/did you watch?
