Just Another Blog.....

Happy Monday everyone! Hope everyone had a great Father's day! We did..... First, Mike had to run out and do errands, which was perfect for the kids and I because made mike's favorite cookies, they had sooo much fun mixing and putting all the ingredients together. Then the kids wrapped daddy's presents. We couldn't find the tape so Alex had a great idea to use glue..lol Hey, what can I say, she is very resourceful. Then the kids got ready for their performance for daddy. It consisted of two dances and a poem and confetti all over the place. LOL Then after that we went to go eat. It was a pretty good day. The kids are so special. I love their little imaginations.
Saturday, we went to another BBQ. I am really happy that we are making friends....the little group that it seems we do stuff with are really good people. It makes living overseas that much more easier when you have good friends.
This week is gonna be busy. I am babysitting my friends boys. They are really good, so no complaints...just a busy week! All in all, everyone here is good and healthy. The weather could be better, but its ok. We are still able to get outside and enjoy non rainy days. Hope everyone is doing well and are all in good health.

Hello everyone! Hope everyone is having a great week so far! I am. It's the first week of the girls being out of school. It's been busy already! Yesterday was a bunch of running around. Jackie got some money for her end of the year gift, for doing so well. So guess what she wanted to go do...SHOPPING! She ended up getting a new DS game. She is so funny. Alex, wanted some American girl clothes for Emily, her doll. They both did really well this year, I thought they deserved a little gift.

Today was STRAWBERRY PATCH day! A friend and I took our kids to go pick strawberries. They had a blast. They thought it was so cool to go on a hunt for nice, big, red, strawberries. Mikey liked the baby ones. I ended up paying 8 euro on strawberries. It was 2 something a kilo. So you can imagine how much I got. These strawberries are the best strawberries I have ever tasted. What to do, what to do with these strawberries. MMMMMMM......

Then we went downtown,Kaiserslautern, and walked around, got lunch, and ice cream for the kids. They have a really nice farmers market down there. Might have to go back and get some fresh veggies. Then we cam home and the kids played for a bit. I cleaned...lol

I don't know what tomorrow holds. I do know the gym. lol

The girls are getting ready for Father's Day. They have been practicing songs and poems they made up to show Mike on that day. They are soooo excited about that. I went upstairs yesterday to put them to bed and I heard them, so I stood listening and watching without them knowing and it is super cute. They are really talented with that kind of stuff. Its going to be cute. They have all sorts of ideas for that day.

New York Time Best Seller!!!!

WOW! Where do I begin about the last couple of days.....have been extremely hectic! I feel like I have been non-stop....haven't had a chance to breathe. Yesterday, Mikey and I ran around doing errands and then we went to Alex's play. It was sooooo cute. Alex was the narrator. It was just there class, and they made a really big deal about it. The kids ushered their parents in and seated them. They also read poems they did throughout the year. Then Alex's teacher handed out "special" awards. It was cute, it was based on each person's personality. Alex's was, "New York Times Best Seller List", since she has a PASSION for reading and writing. Her reading level is at a 5.5 level which is 5th grade. I am sooo proud of her. She did a great job! I am reall happy Alex got the teacher she got, she was super nice and you can tell her passion for teaching! After it was done I took the kids to the pool again. Man, are they little fish! They loved to swim and go off the slides! Mikey especially. He is sooo funny! That wore them out like crazy! So they passed out quickly after their baths.

Today was the last day of school for the girls. They were soo excited to get their yearbooks and have everyone sign them! I HAVE A THIRD GRADER AND A FIRST GRADER! Can you tell I am a little excited?!?!?! I am still in shock on how fast this life is going! Lol. Today was another running around day for me. I went to go get stuff for the ice cream party my friend and I gave the kids for the end of the year treat! Then I got one of Mikes Father's Day gift. I got him a decorative stein. Its what the German use to drink beer out of. The one I got him is really for decoration. Mike really likes them and wants to start collecting.The master painter was there and he painted on it Mike's name. Pretty cool. Then after I picked the kids up we went to my neighbors for the ice cream party. It was sooo cute. The kids had a blast. They got their bathing suits on and played in the water and just had a good time. I hope the kids dont get a tummy ache...the girls had ice cream and cake at school too. lol Oh well, it's only one day, I keep telling myself. Hee hee. I am a little disappointed however, that Jackie didn't have a Kindergarten "graduation". I mean she doesn't need one, but Alex got one and I thought it was cute. I cant complain to much, at least she got a Pre-K one.

Mike, worked on the lawn and put our outdoor table up. It's starting to look better out there. I cant wait to start having BBQ'S and such. Now my loving hubby is putting together the end table. He also came in and swept and he is gonna vacuum later. Such a sweetie!

Well that's my couple of days. Tomorrow we have two BBQ's to go to and Sunday...don't know yet! Could be anything...lol Hope everyone had a great week!

Hump Day......

Hey everyone! Well I haven't written in a few days. Nothing to write about I guess. Has been a pretty slow week. It's the last week of school. So it's my last week of sanity...lol. Friday, I will have a 3rd grader and a 1st grader. Wow!
Today I took my lil man to the indoor pool and let him swim like a fish. I love watching him in the water, especially when he has his goggles on. He thinks he is invincible. They have a little kiddie area with slides and sprinklers..he loves it Then after school today, I took the girls to the movies. We went to see " Diary of a Wimpy Kid". Cute movie. Alex has read all the books and was telling every part that was in the book during the movie. So funny. I had to tell her a few times to hush, I know it was just out of pure excitement. Jackie was so so about the movie, she kept wiggling around, but some parts were pretty funny to her. We had a fun time, we also had dinner together. When I got home, both boys were passed out on the couch. I should have gotten a picture...lol It was cute! Mikey, went right to bed. Didn't fight me at all. Mike woke up due to the very loud boom of thunder.
Well, that's it for now! Oh, tomorrow Alex has a play that we are going to. Stay tuned for that! She is really excited about it. It's just a little play that her reading group put together in the class. I cant wait to see it! Hope everyone is having a great week!

Happy Saturday everyone! Well, today was sooooooo beautiful! It was at least 85 and not a cloud in sight! I love this weather. I am curious to see how this summer will be since we do not have air conditioners in the house. Hopefully we will survive....lol It will save on utilities though!

Yesterday, was a crazy crazy day. I went to a bazaar with my friend Katie. It was pretty cool. I bought this little wooden sign that reads,"Mom's Mood", then on the bottom it says "super, stressin, and yikes". Then you place a little heart tag on which one I am. Its really cute. Mike thought it was funny. Gotta give credit to Katie because she pointed it out. I love it. There was alot of different crafts and things from different countries. There is a big one in August/September time frame....have to make sure I make it to that one. Then after that was a bunch of running around. Picked up the girls and they played in the water again. Hot yesterday!

Today, Mike and I took the kids to his Squadron picnic. They had all sorts of things for the kids, face painting, air brush tattoos, jumping castle, dunk tank, and great food. It was at the park so they got to play there too. Mikey got a tattoo tat says," MOM". So funny. Alex got one on her leg, Hello Kitty, and Jackie got one on her arm that was a mermaid. They had a blast. It was nice to, got to meet some of the people Mike works with. So it was nice to get away and be out of the house. Now my worn out kids are in bed and I am relaxing.

I don't know what tomorrow will bring, possibly the pool or may I will take the kids to go see Wimpy Kid. I guess it depends on the weather. I will probably write another blog tomorrow and let you all know. :) Well, I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend! Have a great Saturday!

Nothing to Special......

Hey everyone! Well I haven't posted in a few days but that is because there wasn't to much to write about! Still nothing to much, but I figured a little update wont hurt. Well our Memorial day wasn't to big, we did take the kiddos out to eat and a movie, Shrek 3. It was cute. I think we, Mike and I, might have enjoyed it more. lol It was a real relaxing weekend. Cant ask for much more.

Well, the kids have 7 more days of school left. Good thing and a bad thing...lol Its good cause we all get a break from waking up early and rushing around. Also, we get to go do fun things this summer and go explore. The bad side of them being out, I don't get my break, from the fighting, bickering, whining, etc...lol The good out ways the bad of course. Just have to keep them busy. lol I am excited abut this summer though. On the last day of school, my friend and I are going to through the kids a lil party, gonna BBQ and do smores over the grill! They dont know it yet, its a surprise! Cant wait to see their little faces when they realize the party is all for them!

Well, nothing else to much going on. The weather is been mild. Warm enough to wear capris and flip flops. lol The kids have been playing outside the past few days. Mikey is getting so good at pedaling his hot wheels bike! Alex and Jackie have scooters..they love them Jackie is still learning but Alex is a pro now!

Well, I need to get off and get my little girls to bed! Hope everyone is having a great week!
